Our goal for Chapter 1 was to design a timepiece that feels predictable, stable, and considered in use.
Many modern watches add complexity where clarity would suffice.
Over time, that complexity shapes not only how they look, but how they feel to live with.
Chapter 1 takes the opposite approach.
Nothing Added Without Reason.
C1 was conceived as a single, considered whole rather than a collection of features.
Form, interface, and wearability were shaped together so nothing competes for attention.
When decisions are aligned from the start, the watch becomes simpler to live with over time.
Clarity Through Reduction.
A key outcome of this thinking is our patented Unicrown internal-bezel system.
Unicrown integrates internal bezel rotation, winding and time & date setting setting into a single crown.
The interaction is controlled, repeatable, and deliberately restrained.
Unicrown was not added to make the watch distinctive.
It exists because the system required it.
