- Is there a warranty?
- Every UC1 Recurve carries a two-year international warranty. It runs from the day the watch is delivered and it belongs to the watch, not the owner. The full terms
- What does it cover?
- Defects in materials or workmanship in the Unicrown system, the case and the movement. A leak caused by a manufacturing defect is covered like any other defect. What is and isn't covered
- Is water resistance covered?
- Every watch will be pressure-tested before it ships, and a leak caused by a manufacturing defect is covered. Water resistance can't be guaranteed for good: seals age, and a knock to the crown can affect them. Damage from an impact, hot water, saunas or steam, using the crown underwater, or seals past their service life is not covered. Water resistance
- How do I make a claim?
- Email hello@kintao.com with the watch number and a photo or short video of the problem. We reply within three working days. How a claim works
- Who can service it?
- Any qualified Miyota watchmaker can service the movement. Anything Unicrown-specific comes back to us.
- What happens after the two years?
- Unicrown work returns to Kintao at a fixed service fee, published when the first watches ship.
